Engagement began in 2015 as Project Developer and Business Developer in Thailand, covering two parallel objectives: developing new turnkey plant projects with prospective customers, and re-establishing commercial coverage of the client's existing installed base.
The customer-recovery track produced the most tangible results. A significant portion of historical Thai customers had been gradually losing contact with the client due to a lack of local visits and service presence — and with that lost contact, spare parts revenue had quietly disappeared. Direct local engagement, combined with on-the-ground technical and service support, recovered a substantial share of that lost business.
The new-projects track was advanced with two major prospective customers for full turnkey milling plants. Both opportunities reached an advanced stage but did not close: the COVID-19 pandemic restricted travel of the client's Italian technical team at a critical phase of the project cycle, and the client's organization was not structured to support remote or distributed project execution.
The engagement concluded in 2020.
