This engagement began differently from most: the mandate originated not from the Italian manufacturer but from MC Square's existing customers in Bangladesh, who were looking for a high-quality professional Italian compressor supplier.
The sourcing process covered three candidate Italian manufacturers — each visited and evaluated in person, assessing not only the product range and pricing but the quality of after-sales technical and commercial service that each could realistically deliver to the Bangladesh market. After review with the buyers, the engagement moved forward with the selected Italian supplier.
From 2014 to 2016, MC Square operated as the trading bridge between the Italian manufacturer and the Bangladesh buyers — managing commercial coordination, documentation and logistics across the two sides.
The engagement concluded in 2016 as competitive pressure from better-structured Asian compressor manufacturers eroded the Italian supplier's commercial position in the Bangladesh market.
